Suzuki DR200

After having the DR200 for over 2 years, finally took some pictures on a nice ride along the logging roads behind the Waste Lands. The DR200 is a great little trail bike, light weight, so easy to ride, and a lot of fun. I've done several day long off road riding adventures with the DR200, and other than some of the bigger hills, had no issues keeping up with friends riding bigger bikes like the DRZ400 - I'm just a little slower. They were always impressed and it was surprising to them how well the DR200 did. I was always able to get where we were going! Highly recommended for new riders.

The DR200 needed a bit of TLC after a crash that broke the headlight. I was able to pick up an inexpensive aftermarket light that included the housing for less that half the price of the OEM headlamp alone. As the DR200 is a bike for my daughters to learn on, it'll take some bumps and bruises from time to time, so inexpensive replacement bits are a good thing!

I cut off the box connector from the new light, spliced together the leads into 3 10 gauge blade connectors and was able to plug each of them right into the 3 prong connector of the stock headlamp. The new headlight looks pretty good! The clutch lever took a hit as well. It's still usable, but have ordered a replacement for that as well, in fire engine red!
